We are delighted to let you know that all of that hard work putting the blue coins into the Tesco Stronger Starts boxes over the summer paid off and we came in second place, which won us a fantastic £1000!
Thank you everyone!
The KS1 Hall felt very festive on Friday (17 November) with the PTA Craft Groups Wreath Making Evening. The room was full of Christmas cheer and creativity with so many beautiful wreaths lovingly made.
The PTA Craft Group thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and hope to run more crafting events in the new year! Please let us know if there is a particular Craft you would like us to run, or even help run with us!
The CTS PTA Craft Group, which welcomes all crafts, can be found on Facebook.
The Scarecrow Trail has ended and the votes have been counted!
We are delighted to announce the winner of the Half Term Scarecrow Trail 2023 is number 19!
It was a very close vote and we would like to thank all the Scarecrow Creators for their time and effort in making such a fantastic trail!
The winner has received their prize and graciously donated it back to the PTA. We send special thanks again to our Scarecrow Trail sponsor, Sandhurst Park Cafe.
You may have noticed the new Blue dustbin in the middle playground. You can now place all fundraising donations for the PTA in this bin! No need to venture around to the office (unless it is glass or breakable, then please do deliver those there) all donations can now be dropped off in one convenient location.
In addition to this, we are excited to share that we now have a Green dustbin alongside it to collect items for recycling. Not only do the items collected raise money for the PTA, 40p per kilo, but it also reduces the amount of waste going into landfills.
Therefore, helping our school and the environment!
The PTA were thrilled to have won a recent Facebook competition run by Prospect Estate Agents.
College Town Schools PTA received the most votes and were awarded with a £250 donation.
Thank you to everyone who voted for us!
A huge well done to Bluebell (Squirrels) & Huxley (Dragonflies), who did the Blackbushe Twilight Runway Challenge on 16 September. They scooted around the route and got sponsorship from family, raising an impressive £105 for the PTA - thank you Bluebell & Huxley!
